Motivation to study psychology

In the beginning, I didn't want to study psychology, I preferred to study sociology, because I wanted understand social dynamics and why people behave like that. But, one day, I talked with a friend, and I convinced myself that this career is too theoretical and, if I study sociology, I couldn't create things. In that case, I thought that if I study psychology, I could understand people behaviors and create ways to help to people. 

Well... while I studying psychology I understand that my expectations are difficult goals to achieve, because exist many theoretical lines, with different ideas about the human and his behave. Is necessary be critic with all theoretical proposal, because any application, technique, or practice proposal depends of a theory. Moreover, exist many areas to apply psychology (for example: labour, clinical, educational) and each area have a theoretical way. This context added difficulty to investigate about human behavior, because is very important consider critically all the options that career propound. Choose, in this career, is very complex process because, in the beginning, I don't had necessary knowledge to evaluate a way that I would want follow.

Now, I know theoretical way that I like, but this could change at any time. Moreover, I don't be sure about the area that I would like work, but I have some preferences (juridical and labour area).

But, I must insist that in this career nothing is definitive.
