Well... when the end of the year approach, it is the best time in the year to think about what has been the best and the worst of this period. For me, this year has been a period for gradually adjusting in many areas. For this, I decided call it "The Transition Year", because I had to adapt to a new reality. Past year, 2012, my father died and my life completely changed. First, my mother had to work because she didn't have money to pay the rent house. This was very difficult because she didn't has the motivation to work in this moment. Moreover, my brother and me had to adapt to new context and contribute to home and being emotionally supportive of her. In the academic area, I needed approve all my courses because I would lost my scholarship if I didn't pass my courses.
For this, in this year I had to adapt to new dynamics and new challenges. My life suffered a transition. Thankfully we adapted quickly to new context; my mother got a job in a counters values company and could reorganize her life. Moreover, my brother discovered a new hobby: the arts in the circus, and now he is a juggler, illusionist and acrobat. He love his new hobby and works in this, for example make different shows for birthdays or another events. About me, I achieved approve all first semester courses and I had has good qualifications for this semester. I think that this year has been a good period to value my family and my friends.
Dear Sebastiàn,
ReplyDeleteI think your mother must be very proud of you and your brother. Also, this is a good example of the importance of the family in our lives.
